After five-and-a-half years of living in Redwood City, including a 9 month floor-to-ceiling remodel, we sold out and moved eight miles south-west to Portola Valley.
Aside from having excellent schools to raise the kids, our home is big enough to accomidate our growing family and sustain us for the forseeable future. It's a 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 2 story home on almost an acre of property that overlooks a valley. Our in-the-country retreat needs a lot of home improvements and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Looks like we'll have our work *cut out* for us just keeping the property maintained.
